Story of My Vegetable Garden (私の畑の物語) (19) Slugs

English translation:
They were slugs, I found. One night, I put a plant pot upside-down on the vegetable patch. Next day, wow, a lot of small slugs were on the wall of the pot! I beat them up with a rock. Then made their grave in the backyard.
*
(Slug is evolved from snail, in the way of taking out the shell, they say. So I expressed 'slug' as 'snail without the shell'. Also I used a combination of 'dead body' and 'ceremonial place' to show 'grave.')
