Mini Topics and photos Corner in Earth Language

The New De young Museum (about the mysterious cracks)
The photos and topics from our Washington and Oregon trip
(Around Mt. Rainier, forests, plants and the Hobbit village)

* EL distinguishes types of names; here making clear for mountain, plant, dwarf in this document; also distinguishes if a name is shown by phonetics or meanings using brackets. Expressions for plants might be changed in the future, after scientific discussions.
* The grammar of these English/Japanese direct translations might seem to be a little incorrect for showing these EL structures.

The photos and topics from our Washington and Oregon trip

My husband and I was busy on physical working and walking in WA and OR from Sep. 11 through 30.
I'd like to share some of those photos with you.

We enjoyed walking in deep forests near the big mountain Rainier.
On a ridge of the mountain range, birds come and rob our lunch in front of our eyes.

In the forest, tall trees are standing competing their height.
Some trees are offering nesting places for small animals,
or are dead raising young trees and moss on their body.

Colorful berries and vines or bush fruits are ripening, and they are sweet with each scent.
(From the left, blackberry, honeysuckle, wild-rose. Salal, huckleberry, salmonberry ripened a little too much.)

rootrock-structure

The roots of fallen trees are holding round rocks and pebbles.
Perhaps this place had been the bottom of a river for a long time.
I carefully stacked rocks of the trail edge.
Rocks-arrangement is my favorite tradition in the middle of walking in nature.

Under trees, various shapes of mushrooms were growing; and what a surprise, tiny houses were there!
The house group was the (dwarf) hobbits' village including a bridge and houses of
Bilbo, Merry, Pippin and others, also even a restroom building.

(* When "Hobbit" appeared for the first time, it is shown as (the name of a kind of dwarf), (its phonetic abbreviation) and (the pronunciation).)

Do you see some Hobbit watching you through the window on the tree trunk?
No body knows who built this village, but we heard that this village has been here for around 30 years.
(The location is in the Federation Forest: out of the north-east side of the Rainier National Forest)

lavamaple

These are from a lava (volcanic rock) area in Oregon (state).
Yellow and red autumnal leaves, and green trees on the black rocks made our eyes pleasant.

De Young

The Museum, De Young in my town will be open to the public next month in the brand-new beautiful style.

But what a surprise, there already are many cracks on the floor of the façade exterior. Strange, I’ve never felt a strong earthquake this year…

The building staff told, “Those cracks are a kind of art for the purpose of the memory of the earthquake
that damaged this former building”
